What is "Hit" and "Stand" in Blackjack?

To "hit" is to ask for another card. It can occur when the player decides to receive a third card after the first two. The received letter is also called a hit.

To "stand" is to hold your total and end your turn. It can occur when the player decides not to take any further actions in the round. It is recommended when you have a high hand or another card that can go over 21 and make you lose the round.
